Radio Taxis Family Day Competition

COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS (“TERMS AND CONDITIONS”)

These Terms and Conditions apply to all individuals entering the Radio Taxis Family Day Competition (“the Competition”). By entering, you (“You”, “Entrant”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept them, please do not enter.

The Promoter

• The Competition is promoted and administered by Radio Taxis (Southampton) Ltd.

Eligibility to Enter

• Entrants must be aged 18 or older and must have the parent or legal guardian’s consent to nominate a child.
• Nominees must be aged between 7 and 12 years old and resident in Great Britain.
• Entrants must be authorised to provide the nominee’s details and consent.
• Employees, contractors, or immediate family members of Radio Taxis (Southampton) Ltd are not permitted to enter.
• Employees of Radio Taxis (Southampton) Ltd cannot enter the Competition.
• To be eligible for consideration, all entries must be received no later than midnight on 28 July 2025.

Disqualifications may occur if:

• Entries are incomplete, illegible, or submitted via automated systems including macros, scripts, or bots.
• An entrant attempts to circumvent entry rules using multiple identities, manipulated IP addresses, brute force attacks, or bulk submission tactics.

Radio Taxis (Southampton) Ltd reserves the right to request proof of eligibility and may disqualify any entry that does not comply.

The Prize

• The prize details are specified on the relevant Competition webpage or communications.
• Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any cash alternative.
• Radio Taxis (Southampton) Ltd reserves the right to substitute any prize with an item of equal or greater value in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
• The included taxi transfer is to the maximum value of £25 (each way) and must be from one pickup and drop-off location.

How to Enter

• Entrants may submit one valid entry in accordance with the instructions provided on the Competition webpage or communications.
• Internet access, an email address, and a phone number are required.
• Entries received outside the opening and closing dates will be disqualified.
• Entries via methods not listed (e.g., postal, social media direct messages) will not be accepted.

Judging & Winner Selection

• All valid entries will be reviewed and judged by a selection panel from Radio Taxis (Southampton) Ltd based on the nomination content.
• Winners will be notified within 48 hours of the closing date.
• If a winner does not accept the prize within 24 hours of contact, a new winner may be selected.

Use of Personal Data

• Personal data will be used exclusively to administer the Competition, notify winners, and facilitate prize arrangements.
• Where necessary, data may be shared with Southampton Football Club for event planning, safety, and coordination purposes.
• Data will be handled in compliance with the UK GDPR and not used for unrelated marketing unless explicit consent is provided.

Winner Announcement

• Winners’ names may be announced by Radio Taxis (Southampton) Ltd unless objections are raised.
• If you wish to object or limit the personal information disclosed, please contact feedback@radtax.co.uk before the announcement.

Verification & Administration

• Radio Taxis (Southampton) Ltd may verify eligibility before awarding any prize.
• All communication regarding the prize will be directed to the person who made the original entry.
• Lost, delayed, or damaged entries due to technical failures are not the responsibility of Radio Taxis (Southampton) Ltd (unless due to negligence).
  

Legal Information

• Radio Taxis (Southampton) Ltd may cancel or amend the Competition if necessary and act reasonably in doing so.
• No refunds will be issued for any reason.
• These Terms and Conditions are governed by English Law. Legal proceedings may be brought in the relevant courts depending on your location within the UK.
• No third party shall have any right to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

• Data protection issues should be addressed to the Data Protection Officer via support@radtax.co.uk.
• Radio Taxis (Southampton) Ltd will respond within 7 calendar days of receiving the complaint.
